Anna Hauser is a research assistant at the Chair of China Business and Economics. Her research is funded by the DFG.
Résumé
Anna Hauser holds a bachelor’s degree in Asian Studies from the University of Bonn and a master’s degree in China Business and Economics from the University of Würzburg. She studied at Peking University as a visiting student from 2014-2015 and gained work experience at the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) in 2018, where she worked as a junior researcher in the projects “Sino-German Energy Partnership” (SGEP) and “Chinese-German Cooperation on Low Carbon Transport” (CLCT).
Field of Research
In her dissertation, she focuses on local self-governance in the context of China’s energy transition. Her dissertation project is part of the DFG-funded research group “Local Self-Governance in the Context of Weak Statehood in Antiquity and the Modern Era” (LoSAM). Further research interests include sustainable development, participatory governance and business ethics.
