ASQ: Japonicum

Japanese language courses (Modern Japanese 1 and 2), as well as Japan-related content courses (regional studies and history of Japan) can be chosen by all students of the University of Würzburg as a General Key Qualification (ASQ). Upon completion, the certificate certifies that a sum of 22 hours per semester were taken as part of the Japonicum.

The first intensive Japanese language course (Japanese I) takes place in September, before the start of the lecture period prior to the winter term each year. Registration for the intensive Japanese language course is required by the 15th of July of the respective year (see below). The exact start date of the intensive language course can be found in the current course catalogue.
