European Chinese Language and Culture Programme
The European Chinese Language and Culture Programme (ECLC) has been operating a permanent office at the Peking University since March 2011. The programme offers students of the University of Würzburg the opportunity to study at the School of International Studies at the Peking University for a full semester (five months). The partners involved in the ECLC programme are Aarhus University, the University of Oslo and the University of Würzburg. Federal Ministry of Education and Research Competence Network 'Governance in China'
The Competence Network 'Governance in China' has been funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) since March 1st 2010 (2.5 million Euros) and is designed to run for four years. The research network is part of the BMBF funding measure to strengthen regional studies (area studies) in Germany. The coordinator of the competence network is Prof. Dr. Björn Alpermann.
